Meet Christabel
Christabel Fernandes is the owner and lead designer at Amibloom Florals. Christabel started working with florals before the age of 10. No lie.
How it started
"My story starts with the ultimate teacher, my mom. My mom worked for some of the top event companies in Chicago for many years making incredible wedding personals and installations. Of course, my mom was the go-to floral designer for family and friends and I, luckily, got to be her protege. I continued my education in art and received my Bachelors in Art and Design from Purdue University with a certificate in Entrepreneurship. While working as a corporate graphic designer for a few years, I continued doing floral work as a side-hustle. I then decided I wanted to get serious about building a family business in something I loved and felt great pride in."
As a small business owner, I know the importance of putting our customers/clients first. You will feel like family when working with us, because we will put love into everything we do.
Mother Nature does it best! Our whimsical and garden-like atheistic showcases the beauty of all things floral. When possible we source our florals from local farms to get the best quality in florals. We are conscious of our carbon footprint and use methods and tools to reduce the use of one-time plastics.
